Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning

An associate's degree program in HVAC teaches students to use the proper tools for installing, repairing and maintaining heating, ventilation and cooling equipment. Students learn to understand HVAC blueprints and diagrams and troubleshoot operational problems. Programs teach students about HVAC electrical processes for different types of heating and cooling systems. Most programs provide students with the tools and HVAC equipment needed to gain valuable hands-on training.
